Timber Rock Outdoor Argentine Grill Cook Station

This is not a barbecue. The Timber Rock is built around a genuine Argentine open-fire grill — the gaucho method, where you cook over wood or charcoal and control the heat by moving the grates rather than turning a dial.

The grill

12-gauge powder-coated steel with a 723 square inch cooking surface and an acacia wood crank handle. The 304 stainless steel grates adjust from 2 to 24 inches above the fire, which is the whole point of Santa Maria-style cooking: drop them low to sear, raise them high to roast slowly for hours. Four stainless S-hooks let you hang cuts vertically for gaucho-style slow cooking and smoking alongside whatever’s on the grates.

Refractory fire bricks and ceramic fire-insulated side walls hold heat steadily and distribute it evenly, so the fire behaves predictably instead of running hot in the middle and cold at the edges.

The station around it

10.5 square feet of engineered stone countertop across 5.5 linear feet — enough to prep, plate and serve without moving indoors. Underneath, powder-coated galvanized steel storage: two drawers on soft-close hardware and three open cabinets sized for firewood and tools. A stainless steel range hood sits directly over the grill to vent smoke and heat away from where you’re standing. The PowerPort™ mounts to a post with electrical outlets and USB ports, so lighting and devices are handled. A power source isn’t included.

The structure

Reinforced big-timber cedar posts carry a cantilevered powder-coated galvanized steel roof that extends over the full station while leaving the cooking area open. Pro-Tect™ tested to withstand up to 2,150 lbs of snow load — roughly 30 inches — and winds up to 100 mph, provided it’s anchored exactly as the manual specifies.
