Sweetwater Chicken Coop – Brown

The Sweetwater is a coop built for people who don’t want to be up at dawn. Its solar-powered door opens and closes on a timer you set, so the flock gets out on schedule each morning and is shut in safely each night — whether you’re there or not.

The automatic door

Solar-powered with a remote control, running on a schedule you program. No wiring, no battery changes, and no evening trip down the garden to make sure the door is closed. It’s the single feature that changes how much work keeping chickens actually is.

What’s included

A raised coop with a 24 sq ft run enclosed underneath in heavy-duty wire mesh. A ramp connects the two levels. A two-hole nesting box mounts on the side with its own opening door, so you collect eggs and check on the hens from outside without going into the coop. Two interior roosting bars give 4.5 linear feet of perch. A large exterior door with a secure latch opens the coop up for cleaning. Removable rubber pads line the nesting box and coop floor — non-slip underfoot and simple to lift out and hose down.

The run

At 24 square feet under the raised coop, the run gives birds shaded outdoor space to scratch and stretch without being loose in the yard. Heavy-duty mesh on all sides.

Egg collection

The side-access nesting box is the detail that earns its keep daily. Open the outer door, see both boxes clearly, take the eggs. No stooping into the coop, no disturbing hens that are still settled.

Roof and materials

29-gauge powder-coated galvanized steel roof for full coverage against rain, hail and sun. Cedar construction throughout in a warm brown stain — cedar naturally resists rot, decay and insects. Stain saturation varies naturally between units.

Assembly

Pieces arrive pre-cut, pre-drilled and pre-stained, with a printed instruction manual in the box.
