Sweetwater Chicken Coop

Modern farmhouse, in a coop. White stain with black trim and a black steel roof — the Sweetwater is designed to look deliberate in a yard rather than utilitarian, which matters when it’s going somewhere visible from the house.

What you get

The coop sits raised, with a 24 square foot run enclosed in heavy-duty wire mesh running underneath it. A ramp links the two levels. Two interior roosting bars provide 4.5 linear feet of perch. A two-hole nesting box mounts on the side with its own access door. A large exterior door with a secure latch opens the coop for cleaning. Removable rubber pads line the coop floor and nesting box.

The door that does the work

The automatic coop door is solar-powered and runs on a timer you program, with a remote control. It closes at night with your birds inside and opens again in the morning — which is the difference between keeping chickens and being tied to them. No wiring to run, no batteries to change.

Egg collection without going in

The nesting box opens from the outside. Two separate holes give hens quiet, private spaces to lay, and the side door lets you see both, collect the eggs, and check conditions without opening the coop or disturbing birds still settled.

Cleaning

The rubber pads lift straight out of the nesting box and coop floor. Hose them, dry them, put them back. Non-slip underfoot for the birds, and it turns the worst job of keeping chickens into a five-minute one.

Roof and materials

29-gauge powder-coated galvanized steel roof in black, covering coop and run. 100% cedar construction, naturally resistant to rot and decay, pre-stained white with black trim. Stain saturation and colour vary naturally between units.

Assembly

Pieces arrive pre-cut, pre-drilled and pre-stained, with a printed instruction manual in the box.
